Client projectLive

Grassroots Childcare Initiative

A website that helps a grassroots health NGO earn trust and support

Challenge
An NGO’s website has several jobs at once: explain the work clearly, prove that it is real and accountable, and make it easy for donors, volunteers and partners to act. Much of that audience arrives on a phone.
What we built
  • A single-page story that moves from mission to programmes, impact, field stories and ways to help
  • Eight programme areas presented clearly, from community outreach to child protection
  • A donation journey with one-time and monthly giving, explained step by step
Outcome
The site is live at gcci.org.ng, giving GCCI one clear home for donors, volunteers and partners. We will share measured results here with GCCI’s permission.

  • React

We don’t just build products for others. We build our own

Running our own products keeps us honest. We live with the same trade-offs our clients face: what to ship first, what to cut, and what it takes to keep software working after launch.

CampusTutor

Live

An AI study partner for students who can’t wait for office hours

An AI tutor and research workspace for Nigerian tertiary students. It helps them prepare for exams in their own courses and move projects, theses and dissertations forward, on the phone they already carry.

  • AI tutoring
  • Research workspace
  • Mobile-first
CampusTutor homepage: “Finish your project with confidence”, beside a Project Lab card showing sources discovered and citations verified, and a Tutor AI chat

Adlidity

Coming soon

Weekly revenue intelligence for growing businesses

Adlidity connects your ads, WhatsApp chats, website and sales, then tells you every Monday where customers came from, where revenue is leaking and what to do next.

  • Revenue intelligence
  • Weekly reviews
  • Ads to WhatsApp to sales
Adlidity homepage: “Know what’s working. Know what’s broken. Know what to do next”, with buttons to get a free leak audit or read a sample review

What we build

Four areas of work, one team. Most engagements touch more than one: a product needs a site, a system needs growth.

  1. Your website is often the first conversation a customer has with your business. We design and build sites that load fast on the phones your customers actually use, explain what you do clearly and make the next step obvious.

    What we build

    • High-performance websites
    • Corporate websites
    • NGO websites
    • E-commerce
    • Landing pages
    • Customer portals

    What changes

    • Faster pages on mobile networks
    • Clearer paths to enquiry or purchase
    • A site your team can update

Built for the realities of African business

We understand the environment because we build within it. These aren’t constraints we work around; they are the brief.

  • Your customers are on phones, often mid-range Android, often on metered data

We budget page weight like money. Compressed images, minimal JavaScript, and testing on throttled networks.

  • Connections drop. Power goes. Sessions get interrupted

Forms save progress, actions retry safely and critical flows are designed to recover, not restart.

  • People pay by transfer, card, USSD and sometimes cash on delivery

We design payment flows around the methods your customers actually use and confirm them automatically.

  • Businesses run on WhatsApp, spreadsheets and people remembering things

We build systems that meet teams where they are, then replace the fragile parts step by step.

  • Budgets are real and every naira has to justify itself

We scope in releases, ship the smallest valuable version first and grow only what proves itself.

  • Markets move fast and regulations change

Architecture that can adapt: clean data models, modular systems and nothing you can’t change later.

How we work

Five stages, each ending in something you can see and use. You always know where the project is and what comes next.

  1. Discover

Understand the business, the users and the problem

Conversations with you and, where possible, your customers. We map the problem before proposing anything.

    You get Problem brief

  2. Define

Turn the problem into a clear product strategy

Scope, priorities, success measures and a release plan with dates you can hold us to.

You get Scope and release plan

  3. Design

Create the experience and the system behind it

Flows, interfaces and a design system, tested with real people before engineering starts.

You get Prototype and design system

  4. Build

    Engineer the product properly

Short cycles with working software you can see every week. Tested, reviewed and documented.

    You get Working software

  5. Launch

    Deploy, measure and improve

Release, monitoring and analytics, then an improvement cycle driven by how people actually use it.

You get Live product and roadmap

  • You own what we build

Code, designs, content and accounts are transferred to you. No lock-in.

  • Scope in writing

Every engagement starts with a written scope and dated plan, so there are no surprises.

  • Working software early

You see real progress in the product, not in slide decks.

  • Documented handover

Your team, or any future team, can pick up where we left off.

Serious software, properly engineered

We choose tools for the job, not the trend. What matters more is how we use them.

  • Typed and reviewed

Type-safe code, and every change reviewed by a second engineer before it ships.

  • Tested where it matters

Automated tests on the logic your business depends on: payments, permissions, data.

  • Deployed continuously

Automated pipelines, preview environments and safe, reversible releases.

  • Observable in production

Monitoring and error tracking, so we hear about problems before your customers do.

  • Secure by default

Least-privilege access, encrypted data, and personal data handled under the NDPA.

  • Documented to hand over

Architecture notes and runbooks your future team can actually use.

Why Tekora

  • Strategy before software

We don’t start by writing code. We start by understanding the problem, because the most expensive software is the wrong software built well.

  • Designed around people

Technology is only useful when people can actually use it: the customer on a crowded bus, the staff member at the end of a long shift.

  • Built to evolve

Products should be designed for what comes next, not just today’s requirements. Clean architecture is how tomorrow stays affordable.

  • African context. Global standards

We build for African realities without compromising on engineering or design quality. Neither is an excuse for the other.
